AngelArts Enrichment Programs
Will Help Your Children Reach
New Heights and Beyond
I am Dana Susan Beasley, founder of AngelArts, a faith-based company that exists to help the marginalized (including homeschoolers and kids, especially ones with special needs), discover their passions and callings through art experiences so that they will reach new heights in their lives and beyond.
As a homeschooling mom to an Autistic teen, I recognize the value of play-based learning and fun. I've seen the improvement in my own son and I've seen incredible strides in others.
That's why we offer a LARPing Summer Camp, a free Acting Camp, a LARPing Club that meets throughout the year, and an Acting Club.
The LARPing Camp is at Fox Run Park Pavilion #3 June 25-29 at 12:30-4:30 pm.
LARPing is Live Action Role Playing. That means we create a story like Lord of the Rings/Narnia and have the kids act it out. We make fun (and safe) boffer swords that are unique. We do ditch battling and talk about our relationship with Christ.
The Free Acting Camp is at the East Library August 23 and 24. It is open to both homeschoolers and traditional-schooled students.
The LARPing Club starts September 6. We have classes two times per months for homeschoolers (which includes a history component) and events on one Saturday a month where we do the actual LARPing. Conventional schoolers (public or private) can join us with our Saturday club option.
Enrollment is open for the camp (the price will be going up after the 15th and closing on the 23rd) and clubs.

This unique program is a moving Art project, where children 7 to 12, build unique Art projects that are animated. Each project incorporates visual designs that the student arranges as their own creation and through a variety of devices ensures that this sculpture moves.
Our unique Dynamic Art program combines art and technology while challenging your child to explore the relationship of these ideas. Through this program your child will be given the experience of making moving sculptures. Artists such as Alexander Calder used this method for his ceiling mobiles, which are seen all over the country. Each child will be given the opportunity to explore their creativity while incorporating the exciting elements of technology. Through the use of motors, gears and pulleys your child will learn how to turn their art to an exciting new level. They will be making beautiful and fun unique sculptures that exist as art and decorative objects. This class will challenge the functionality of the creative process as well as being fun and rewarding. It is more than your basic children's art class.
Each kit contains motors, batteries, and circuits, which are essential to making moving sculpture as well as fun art tools such as construction paper, pipe cleaners, felt, pom poms, and googly eyes. All these items work together to create unique moving pieces of art and your child will closely examine the partnership between engineering and art. (less)... Read more
