In case you missed it, check out our educational video from last week! This film includes a story and a hike out at Mud Lake! Learn to use your senses outside, while practicing physical distancing.
The simplicity of engaging in nature and enjoying the details by using your senses can foster a deeper love and connection to the outdoors. Sit spots, nature journaling, forest bathing all are very healthy ways to gain perspective as well as a deeper understanding of our place in nature.

WildBear's Message to You:
Our hearts go out to all who are directly impacted by the Covid-19 virus. Words cannot express our concern and love for our communities across the world. We hope we can add some uplifting energy to you and your family through our educational video series.
Please enjoy a family walk practicing physical distancing from others. Our first video shares fun ideas for using your senses with children... of course we are all children deep inside!
Our second video brings you on a visit to the WildBear Nature Center where our staff will share fun facts about all of the animals who live there.
Please enjoy and share with others who might need to put a smile on their face!

Please support WildBear Nature Center
WildBear Nature Center has been closed since March 12 and will remain so until the Colorado Stay at Home mandate is lifted. However, our creative staff has continued working diligently behind the scenes for the community and for nature. We are working every day to develop virtual nature education and prepare for when our direct services are needed for children and families. Our staff is critical to our ability to respond when families head back to work.
Please consider a donation today at any level. Let's come together as a community to show that the nature center and all that we contribute to the community is of utmost importance as we ready ourselves in response to future community needs. Thank you.
